Where you can still also see different groups of indigenous like the "Purepechas", Mozahuas and Otomies that preserve their mother tongue, and custums such as music, dance, handicrafts, and cuisine.

The Tzararacua is one of the most wonderful cascade you can see, the water is cold but if you want to get inside, you’ll be younger.

Janitzio is the most famous of Patzcuaro´s islands. Janitzio plays an important role in the Dead´s Day Celebration on the night of november 1st.

It`s a traditional town, Paracho is interesting because is small and you can find many kinds of guitars, for children, to learn, to play such a professional.

PRI ( Party Revolutionary Institutional)Member up to 1988. Actually He`s a PRD (Party of the Democratic Revolution) Member. He won the election and He`s going to be as a governor from 2008-2012.
