One of the most beautiful places in Mexico: Michoacán

Have you ever been to Michoacán?




Being in Michoacan it´s like being in heaven. . . . Michoacan is unique and one of a kind, the perfect fusion of natural beauty, picturesque towns, art and culture. It´s a land of Montains and lakes, crossed by hills and lovely valleys, its prairies watered by several streams and its climate temperature and healthful. To travel to Michoacan is to take a trip to through the extraordinary history, culture and folklore of Mexico. Michoacan is also a cultural state to go, where in addition you can get in touch with its prehispanic traditions. Where you can still also see different groups of indigenous like the "Purepechas", Mozahuas and Otomies that preserve their mother tongue, and custums such as music, dance, handicrafts, and cuisine.



The Tzararacua is one of the most wonderful cascade you can see, the water is cold but if you want to get inside, you’ll be younger.


Janitzio is the most famous of Patzcuaro´s islands. Janitzio plays an important role in the Dead´s Day Celebration on the night of november 1st.




It`s a traditional town, Paracho is interesting because is small and you can find many kinds of guitars, for children, to learn, to play such a professional.

Leonel Godoy Rangel: The Michoacan Governor Elect. He was born in Làzaro Càrdenas, Mich. on june 5th in 1950. He`s a mexican lawyer, politician. PRI ( Party Revolutionary Institutional)Member up to 1988. Actually He`s a PRD (Party of the Democratic Revolution) Member. He won the election and He`s going to be as a governor from 2008-2012.

You gave us a complete presentation, the places that you chose to visit are one of the pritties of the state and you were the only team that included in their tour to meet an important person (Michoacan's Governor). We forgot it!. Congratulations!

Hello there Can you belive me if I tell you that I always wanted to know the monarch buterfly sanctuary ? I haven`t done yet but I hope this could happen soon I`ve been in Janitzio, Patzcuaro and Morelia and they are quiet and pretty, very colonial, with lost of interesting tradition, also I lived for some months in Zamora which is beautiful, by the way you did it veru good today. Gina.
